Welcome to The Corvette Restoration Page! This site as been created to allow me to record and share my progress as I complete a frame-off restoration on a 1971 Corvette Stingray. Actually, I suppose it should be called a resto-mod since the Corvette won't be original when I'm finished with this project (it wasn't numbers matching to start with and lots of the new parts won't be original), but I'm not going to split hairs about it.

Anyway, with a little perseverance I hope to keep this site updated with photos and descriptions as my restoration brings this classic Corvette Stingray back to life! Hopefully when the car is fully restored this site will document the project from start to finish. Between restoring, repairing, and painting the frame, rebuilding the motor, cleaning the engine bay, fixing and painting the body and restoring the interior, there should be a lot of good information and tips contained within these pages! | ||||

This will be my first restoration of a classic car, actually it's my first restoration project of any type. I'm no professional mechanic, instead I like to think of myself as a mechanically inclined hobbyist. Hopefully, my enthusiasm will make up for my lack of professional training. I've got a feeling we're going to find out real quick! In any case, with the motor I've got planned this Vette should give those Muscle Cars out there a run for their money when I'm done!
So, feel free to browse around and take a peek at my progress! All my updates can be found by using the navigation menu or by viewing the Corvette Restoration Updates or by viewing the Sitemap.
